Loved the strong female lead who happens to be a private investigator and, oh ya, is a witch with mystical powers. You know it’s not going to be a good mix when she would rather have a rat for a BFF than a person. Don’t mess with this gal. The downside is all the names of characters – I often had a hard time grasping who was where and when. They flow nicely into each other but I’m not a fan of waiting around for the next book when I’m left sitting on a cliff… or should I say, hanging on for dear life?! As always, the illustrations are top notch.
