City of Bones Review

This is a series that builds upon each other. I recommend reading from the beginning – it’s not absolutely necessary, but hey, you’ll love this duo so much, you’ll thank me later. No fear, the books are relatively short and easy to read.

Mystery and adventure sprinkled with fantasy and history (don’t cringe, it’s all good). Bubba and Squirt’s father is missing! Their (deceased) grandfather gives Bubba a vision which leads them to a portal to Paris. Next thing you know, thieves and monsters are in the catacombs with them. What’s up with that painting? There is no end to the adventure and mystery.

On their own, with a little help from the beyond, they meet new friends, figure out how to deal with everything thrown at them, and develop magical powers. I’m willing to bet that you won’t guess what’s really going on.
