This book is a witty, warmhearted celebration of women, friendship, and finding your spark again—literally and figuratively. The writing crackles with dry humor and painfully relatable moments that had me both laughing and nodding in solidarity. The line, “her husband couldn’t navigate a revolving door without her,” sold me from the get go! Sure, a few scenes dragged and I wanted to give certain characters a good shake, but that just proves how real it felt.

Clementine’s quiet rebellion, “I prefer not to” says what so many of us have felt but never said out loud. Smart, funny, and full of heart, this one’s for anyone who’s ever wondered when their invisible labor might finally be seen.
