What a fun, heartfelt time-travel second chance romance! Audrey’s story hit all the right notes for me — she’s a mom stuck in the everyday grind, trying to figure out what went wrong and what really matters. When life gives her a wild twist (hello, time travel accident!), she gets the ultimate do-over, and watching her grow, take accountability, and step into her own power was so satisfying.

The pacing kept me turning pages without ever dragging, and the emotional beats landed perfectly. If you love stories that mix real-life struggles with a little bit of magic and a lot of heart, you’ll want to grab this one. I’m already looking forward to reading more from this author!

About The Author

Laura Barrow, the author of Call the Canaries Home and If We Ever Get There, is a former teacher and a lover of books. She received her bachelor’s degree in music education from Centenary College in northwest Louisiana, where she grew up. She now resides in northeast Texas, just outside Dallas, with her husband, three daughters, and one energetic labradoodle.
