Review for Reflections on the Boulevard

In this continuation of A Reservoir Man, Michael has learned to live his authentic life. As an inspiring mentor, he passes his insight onto Ron, a younger man. The story, told through road trips across the US and Europe, is showcased as this pair share a realistic view of friendship. I loved the way the author revealed bits and pieces of each man’s life. Things are not always easy but what in life is? The lessons shared apply to all. I only wish this book was published years ago, but it’s never too late to learn, is it?

The characters grow tremendously throughout the story, making it apparent that, indeed, we all have more to learn. The road trips are well described and fun as the author sets us into each new location. There is never time to get bored as the pacing is just right. Overall, I enjoyed this book very much and am grateful to have been on the book tour (for both books).
