Review for Time Fixers
If you loved Miles in Time, the sequel is just as awesome—maybe even better! This time, Miles and his brother Simon head back to 1999 (hello, boy bands and flip phones) to save their mom from a traumatic past and hopefully change her future.
There’s mystery, action, emotional family drama, and even a little first love. Miles is still the kind of character you instantly root for, and the story blends suspense, heart, and ‘90s nostalgia perfectly. The stakes feel real, the pace is quick, and the twists keep coming.
A great follow-up with the perfect mix of fun and feels. Bring on book three!
About The Author
Lee Matthew Goldberg is the author of The Ancestor, The Desire Card, Slow Down, and The Menor from St. Martin’s Press. He has been published in multiple languages and nominated for the 2018 Prix du Polar. Orange City, is his first sci-fi novel and Runaway Train, his YA Series. His pilots and screenplays have been finalists in Script Pipeline, Book Pipeline, Stage 32, We Screenplay, the New York Screenplay, Screencraft, and the Hollywood Screenplay contests. After graduating with an MFA from the New School, his writing has also appeared in the anthology Dirty Boulevard, The Millions, Vol 1. Brooklyn, LitReactor, Necessary Fiction, Fiction Writer’s Review, The Montreal Review, The Adirondack Review, Essays & Fictions, The New Plains Review, and others. He is the co-curator of The Guerrilla Lit Reading Series. He lives in New York City.
