The book is driven by Alex’s inner journey, presented in a thoughtful, steady rhythm that matches the story’s emotional weight. Forbes has done an outstanding job sharing an overwhelming topic with grace. I have the utmost respect for the resilience and determination it takes to take a chance and find hope after heartbreak. What Comes Next is well worth the read, especially to remind us to never take tomorrow for granted.
About The Author
Caitlin Forbes is a health care strategist, dog lover, and ski-racing adrenaline seeker who grew up in the mountains of western Maine. She received her bachelor’s degree from Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire and her master’s degree in English literature from the University of Connecticut. Forbes lives in Saco, Maine, with her husband, son, and one-hundred-pound Shiloh shepherd.
