My two bunnies, Kid & Rock, couldn’t wait to reach out to Hop & Fluff to interview them about their book!
Kid & Rock: Hi Hop and Fluff! We’re Kid and Rock—two friendly bunnies who were hoppy to read your story. First things first… carrot-ulations on your book! You two are kind of a big dill in the burrow world.
Hop & Fluff: Hi Kid and Rock! We’re so hoppy you read our story—thank you for the carrot-ulations!
Kid: Hop, you seem super curious—what’s your favorite thing to learn when you’re not busy being ear-resistibly kind?
Hop: Ooooh, I LOVE learning about new places and new friends! I’m always curious about how others feel and what makes them smile. Kindness is my favorite subject. It’s like a lesson you can practice every single day!
Rock: Fluff, be honest… who’s got the fluffiest fur and the biggest personality? I have the fluffies, and Kid is all personality!
Fluff: Okay… I’ll admit it—I’ve got the fluffiest fur, but Hop? Hop has the biggest heart and personality. I bring the fluff, Hop brings the sparkle. Together? Unstoppable.
Kid: When Ruff was grouchy, did your heart start to thumpity-thump, or did you stay cool as a carrot?
Hop: When Ruff was grouchy, my heart definitely did a little thumpity-thump. But I tried to stay calm… like a cool carrot in the garden. Deep breaths and kind thoughts helped me not get swept up in the grumpiness.
Rock: Did you ever feel like saying something snappy, or were you determined to keep things bun-der control?
Fluff: Oh, I totally felt like saying something snappy for a second… but I remembered—being kind is stronger than being right.
Choose Kindness
Kid: What helped you choose kindness even when things got a little ruff?
Hop: I thought about how I’d want to be treated. Sometimes when someone is ruff on the outside, it just means they’re hurting on the inside.
Rock: Do you think being kind makes you the top bunny, or just the coolest carrot in the patch?
Fluff: Being kind doesn’t make you the “top bunny”… it makes you the coolest carrot in the whole patch. And trust me, that’s way better.
Kid: What would you say to a bunny who feels like they don’t quite fit in the burrow?
Hop: To any bunny who feels like they don’t fit in—You do belong. Sometimes it just takes time to find your people… or your burrow. Keep being YOU. That’s your magic.
Rock: What’s your favorite game to play with your friends—anything involving zoomies (our favorite)?
Fluff: Favorite game? ZOOMIES, obviously!! Nothing beats racing around with friends, laughing, and maybe tripping over your own paws once or twice.
Kid: Important question… carrots, clover, or mystery garden snacks—what’s your ultimate nibble pick? Mine is a banana!
Hop: Ultimate snack? Hmm… I love carrots!
Fluff: I’m going bold—mystery garden snacks. You never know what you’re gonna get, and I love a little adventure!
Your Story
Rock: If you could sum up your story in one hoppy little lesson, what would it be?
Hop: If I had to share one lesson from our story: Kindness is powerful—even when it’s not easy.
Fluff: And I’d say—kindness always wins. Maybe not right away… but it always matters.
Kid: When life gets tricky, do you follow your heart, your hoppy instincts, or just go wherever the carrots lead?
Hop: When life gets tricky, I follow my heart and my hoppy instincts. They usually lead me somewhere good… sometimes even to carrots.
Rock: Be real – naps in the sun or adventures with friends—which one makes your whiskers twitch more?
Fluff: Okay, real talk—adventures with friends make me happiest. But naps in the sun? Very close second.
Kid & Rock: It sure was fun meeting you. We just had our birthdays, and now we’re two! We’d love to invite you to our party next year. How old are you?
Hop & Fluff: We’re about your age in bunny years too… still growing, still learning, and always choosing kindness.
