Review of Delphine & The Dark Thread

Cinderella, my most favorite fairy tale of all time, gets a new look through the eyes of these lovable mice. You bet! Mice can be lovable especially when they are cute fairytale animals. Told from the points of view of the rats and the mice, we learn about friendship, bravery, and how to believe in yourself.

The mice are on the run from Silver Needle’s events and are now trying to save the kingdom. Full of action, twists and turns, and impeccable writing, readers of all ages will enjoy this story.

About the Author

Alyssa Moon grew up in the Pacific Northwest, which explains her undying enthusiasm for rainy weather. She does her best writing in tea shops, independent bookstores and at home under her grapefruit tree. She lives in Southern California with her husband and her cat, Picklepop, along with three other cats who are a little grumpy at the fact they weren’t also given roles in this book. Delphine and the Silver Needle is Moon’s debut novel.
