Neena just turned fifty and life is throwing her curveballs. Her brother has passed away, she’s facing problems with her daughter, and if that isn’t enough, she might be out of a job. Stress City. Then, Neena gets the opportunity to blow her career up. Will she cover the 25th anniversary of the plane crash that killed John F. Kennedy, Jr. and wife, Carolyn Bessette?

This is where the book takes off. The ghost of John F. Kennedy, Jr. befriends her. Next thing you know, she’s making a deal with a ghost. While JFK Jr. is dealing with the loss of his wife, we are reminded of our own life and how precious it and our relationships are. Is Neena seeing things that aren’t there due to her hardships? The author does a fabulous job of showing how tension can cause both grief and anxiety. I really wish the cover reflected the story better. I’m a cover snob and probably wouldn’t have picked this book up on my own. It would have been a tragedy since I’d surely recommend it.
