Review of Path of Totality

World War 3 begins with the bombing of major cities and sets the country up for the draft. Jadzia, a teenage girl, finds herself shipped off to battle. When her friend is killed, she runs back to her family who is now missing. You can feel (and smell) the fear as you turn the pages. The action is non stop and will keep you reading. The characters are relatable and the writing is spot on. There were a few places I felt the scenes were overdone but didn’t slow down the page turns. I scratched my head at the budding romance but realized it was a set up for book two, that I would gladly read.
