The perfect book for the new year when everything is possible. Dreams and prospects unite with starting over. There’s a point when we rebuke the rules and give up on societal norms. Then the healing begins and we’re free to live as we see fit. This story catches that and so much more. Both sweet and downhearted, Del struggles to live for herself. It’s emotionally charged with excellent characters, believable dialogue, and set in the beauty of Africa. It’s a sweet romance and highly recommended.

About The Author

From a young age, Nancie had a mind full of stories and an obsession with horses. Her passion for literature and travel led her to a BA. in English from Mount Holyoke College and a Five College Certificate in International Relations.

She lives on a farm in the Hudson Valley, NY with one husband, too many horses, barn cats, and a pack of naughty dogs.

When she’s not cleaning up after her menagerie, she can be found in her writing dungeon letting her imagination run free. Nancie writes Women’s Fiction, Twisty Upmarket Novels, and has an Upper YA Fantasy duology lurking in her drawer. She is a member of both the SCBWI and the WFWA.
