Review for Of Glass and Ashes

Before we get to the book, we have to talk about another fascinating cover – what a work of art! This is the second retelling of Cinderella I’ve read and must admit I love it. We get a look at the man who made Cinderella’s slippers. We have to have a suspect when they go missing, right? And so the story begins it’s journey of twists and build up to the fabulous finish.

I’m a huge fan of dual timelines and was excited to see it used in this book. Wonderful characters work together as mystery and magic collide. If you’re a fan of retellings or just appreciate a story well told, you’ll love this book.

T.M. Franklin writes stories of adventure, romance, & a little magic. A former TV news producer, she decided making stuff up was more fun than reporting the facts.
