If you’re into tarot cards, this is the book for you. If you’re not into tarot cards, it’s still for you. Each chapter features a tarot card for the main character, what a spectacular way to tell a story! Our main character is a coming of age, eighteen year old, Lacey. She’s a strong female despite her age and perhaps due to her circumstances. The setting is the Atlantic Ocean of Maine (sold me). It was easy to get into the story with the twists from the beginning. The ethereal concept is also intriguing. Very enjoyable. Did I mention ghosts?

About The Author

Christine Meade is the author of The Moon, Her Crown and the award-winning novel The Way You Burn. She is a freelance editor and book coach with two decades of experience. Christine has an MFA in Creative Writing from California College of the Arts. She teaches novel writing at Grub Street and Gotham Writers Workshop, and she lives with her husband and three kids outside of Boston, MA.
